Signs and Symptoms

Shock:

• Skin = pale and clammy
• Pulse irregular/weak
• Reduced level of consciousness
• Rapid/shallow breathing
• Nausea/vomitting

Heart Attack:

• Chest pain
• Pressure sensation
• Rapid/shallow breathing
• Confused/deteriorating level of consciousness/unconscious
• Agitated/restless
• Pulse = fast or weak or irregualar
• Victim is in denial

Angina Attack:

• Skin = pale and clammy
• Pulse irregular/weak
• Reduced level of consciousness
• Rapid/shallow breathing
• Nausea/vomitting

Stroke:

• Incoherent speech
• head pain
• facial droopinness
• Numbness

Bleeding:

• Weakness
• nausea
• pale
• cold

Heat Exaustion:

• Weak
• Light headed, dizzy, tired
• Hot

Heat Stroke:

• Skin = dry, red and hot *not sweating*
• level of consciousness is deteriorating
• Vomiting
• Extremely weak and tired

Sprains/Fractures:

• Pain
• Nausea
• Low level of consciousness
