The following is a list of the necessary steps to take for the treatment of each of the listed situations.
It is important to always put on gloves before treating the victim and to also fill out a full accident report after any treatment given. You should also treat for shock during every treatment after the major problem has been dealt with.
Treatments
Shock:
W: warmth
A: ABC (Airway, Breathing, Circulation)
R: Rest and Reassure
T: Treatments
S: Semi-prone position/semi-sit up position
Heart Attack:
Call 911
Loosen tight clothing
Treat for shock (W.A.R.T.S)
Keep victim conscious
Angina Attack:
Call 911
Loosen Tight Clothing
Treat for shock (W.A.R.T.S)
Ask them for their medication. The medication to treat Angina is called Nitroglycerin, it is either in the form of a pill or a spray. The dosage should be taken every three minutes and a maximum of threen doses should not be exceeded.
*Nitroglycerin cannot be given if the victim has taken viagra in the past 24 hours, so it is important to ask this question before administering the medication.
Stroke:
Call 911
Keep victim conscious
Loosen tight clothing
Treat for shock (W.A.R.T.S)
Bleeding:
Call 911 if you feel like you cannot stop the bleeding
Direct pressure on affected area with square gauze
Bandage with gauze roll
Treat for shock (W.A.R.T.S)
Heat Exaustion:
Bring victim to a cooler area
Cool them down with ice packs
Treat for shock (W.A.R.T.S)
Heat Stroke:
Call 911 right away
Cool victim down as quickly as possible
Keep them conscious, do not give water because this will make them throw up
